Special Markings : he doesn't have tattoos. Maybe a couple battle scars from his sheriff days (including the bullet wound that landed him in a coma) and fighting with the undead.
Typical style of clothing: Even after waking up from a coma to a zombie apocalypse, it was always his sheriffs uniform. It stood for something that he believed in, which was civility, law and order, and respect for your fellow man. Recently, however, as his beliefs have wavered, so has his appearance. He wears jeans and tee-shirts if not plaid, and hardly ever dons the uniform.

What was/is your characters dream/goals:
Keeping the group, but more importantly his family safe and together and bringing his baby into the world healthy and secure. Some day they'll rebuild. They have to.
Fears: Not death, per say, but the loss of his life putting his family in danger. What if they can't make it without him?
Its Who I Am
Describe your character’s personality Rick Grimes is a man that embodies ethical standards. His intentions are always good, though his decisions may be bad many times. He's complicated and flawed; a real man. A decent man. He is an unwilling leader, though he has stepped up to the assignment with a sense of compassion and purpose.
The weight of all this has changed the optimistic person that he once was. Rick doesn’t know who he can trust, even him self, but would rather keep it in than confess the weakness. He sees his boy growing cold and the distance getting between him and his wife and honestly, it terrifies him.
Rick lets his purpose keep him going. He will keep his family safe. They will find a cure. And his new baby is coming…
Strengths :
⋆ Determination
⋆ Levelheadedness
⋆ He's an ace with a pistol
⋆ Rick can make a mean cup of coffee
Weaknesses :
⋆ His family
⋆ His duty
⋆ His honor
⋆ Having to choose between what is right and being humane.
⋆ Taking human life.
Habits: Rick paces when he's emotional
Flaws: Since his coma, something things get 'fuzzy' on him. Its like everything gets confused...
He is losing hope. Drowning, at times.
Its A Gift
Skills and Abilities:
Rick is an expert marksman with a gun and can use most any other type of weapon proficiently. He can keep his wits in the most chaotic of situations and has a brilliantly analytical mind.
He is physically strong and wont stop til the job is done, and rope a horse like a professional rodeo cowboy!

Rick Grimes and Shane Walsh had been best friends since high school. The two were employed as sheriff deputies in King County, Georgia. Rick was gunned down and wounded during a shootout with a band of escaped convicts, and left in a coma when the outbreak began. Awakening alone, he set off in search for his wife, Lori, and young son, Carl, and along the way discovered what had happened to the world. Eventually, he met with up a group of survivors who led them to their campsite where Lori and Carl were, as well as Shane. They stayed at the campsite for a few days, and within that time Rick's leadership grew and overpowered the authority Shane once had. He still however struggled with this responsibility, attempting to weigh being fair and doing what's right no matter what society rules were like in the past. He also found himself butting heads frequently with Shane over the various decisions to be made. He and Shane ultimately decided to move beyond the campsite once it proved to be insecure and led to a large death toll, and moved on to the CDC in hopes of finding a cure. Rick unfortunately found no answers at the organization, although the last remaining employee whispered a secret in his ear that has put pressure on him ever since.
In Season 2, after moving beyond the CDC following its destruction, Rick and company were trapped on the highway with a horde of walkers. His call for everyone to hide under the abandoned cars ultimately proves costly, as it resulted in Carol's daughter Sophia being chased into the woods by zombies. He attempted to rescue her, but lost her shortly after instructing her to hide; leaving her alone to fight off her pursuers. Throughout the girl's absence, he questioned his faith in God and further questioned his leadership role within the group; wondering if he truly has what it takes to keep the survivors safe. While splitting up during the search, Carl got shot and the shooter led them to a nearby isolated farm. Rick was distraught over his son, even despite comfort from Shane and Lori. He is a war inside himself between the notion of whether humans are better off not living in the world to begin with. Carl miraculously pulled through after Shane retrieved supplies, which pulled Rick out of his mini depression. Still however, his perspective of his surroundings continued to alter, to the point where he gave up his sheriff attire and settles into more casual clothing, thus representing a significant transformation in his character. He frequently established search missions for Sophia, refusing to believe the idea of her death. He also attempted to reason with Hershel over letting the group stay with his family at the farm. His transformation into becoming less of a black and white figure is furthered starting with the reveal of Sophia's death and reanimation, which reminded him of the hopelessness and blunt reality of the world they're living in. While retrieving Hershel from a bar in town, he encountered two armed men who askedquestions about Rick and his group. When Rick declines to answer, one of the men triedto shoot Rick. Rick shootand killed them both, which further strengthens Hershel's trust in him as leader. He and Lori take notice to Carl's increasing emotional hardness, and his relationship with Shane heads into a darker path, reaching a boiling point when they're in conflict over the fate of a teenage outsider. It resulted in the two nearly killing each other. To preserve the group's safety, he attempted to shoot Randall, however finds that he is not able to bring himself to do it. Shane was prepared to kill Rick hours after Dale's death by killing Randall and during the search led him out into the woods. Rick was able to talk him down, however at the last second, he had to kills Shane in order to protect himself when the man turned on him once again. He became distraught over Shane's death and witnesses his zombified friend get shot in the head and finally finished off by Carl.
Unfortunately when they returned their camp was being over run with zombies and so the group had to split up in order to seek safety.
