Its Who I Am
Describe your character’s personality: ↠Daryl is just a good ole boy with a tough exterior and an even tougher will to survive.
He can be volatile and violent; can even seem heartless at times, but there are brief flashes when his humanity shows through the uncaring persona.
He was starved of affection and attention as a child, and has grown into an adult that can offer neither himself, but has begun to accept the emotional connections he has made with the other survivors. Once a man that craved solitude, now Daryl accepts the idea of family and community.
Strengths : ↠ He is an experienced tracker and hunter.
↠Daryl is mighty observant.
↠He is fully capable of surviving on his own.
↠He can kick your ass seven ways to Sunday or shoot an apple off your head with a crossbow from a mile away. In other words he is deadly accurate with a weapon and knows how to street fight like a bulldog.
Weaknesses : ↠women and children.
↠A bottle of Jack.
↠He's not real good at showin' his feelings or talkin' about them. Hell, he has a hard time feelin' things sometimes...
Habits: ↠ He cusses too much, will snap at the drop of a hat, likes to use his fists before his words and...I really could keep goin' on but I won't.
Flaws: ↠He is an emotionally scarred man that resorts to violence before diplomacy and sometimes lacks the ability to show mercy to others when it comes to his own safety.
Its A Gift
Daryl is deadly accurate with a crossbow, can hunt and track like nobodies business, and can kick your ass all the way to Texas (...or...really far away from where ever you are atm. )
We Ain't In Kansas Anymore..
Daryl and his older brother Merle lived with a neglectful alcoholic father somewhere in the mountains of north Georgia. Merle raised Daryl to share his beliefs and constantly attempted to toughen him up. However, he too was often absent from Daryl's life (part of that had to do wih the fact that he was frequently in juvenile institutions). This led to Daryl having to fend for himself a lot. One time during his childhood, he was lost in the woods for nine full days and lived off of wild berries and used poison oak as a substitute for toilet paper. When he managed to find his way home, neither Merle nor his father noticed his absence. He walked in through the back door then made himself a sandwich.
When the apocalypse began, he and Merle headed towards Atlanta (a declared safe-zone) for shelter. Along the way, they both met up with Shane's group and found out Atlanta was overrun. They decided to help set up a camp near a quarry. During their stay at the camp, they spent a considerable amount of time hunting animals.
When Merle stared to go overboard with his drug abuse and violent behavior and the group was forced to leave him to the zombies in order to make an escape, Daryl was...for lack of a better word, PISSED, but since he has begun to accept his brothers fate and move on from it.
He has started to show maturity and emotional connections toward the group and has stepped up into the role of safeguarding them along side Rick, and will do what is necessary to survive.
