That's My Name (don't wear it out!)
Full Name: Elle Nora Taylor (after her grandmother Elnora)
Nickname(s): Elle, bean pole, Elliebellie

In A Broken Mirror
Height: 5'9"
Body type: > Tall and willowy. People have compared her to a bean pole before. Long legs and pretty thin, almost too thin.
Skin tone: Her skin is all creamy white and perfect. No scars. Nothing
Eye color: Light Blue
Hair color and typical style: Blonde, long and curly Q's
Played By: Taylor Swift
Special Markings Nothing to speak of as far as body modifications. She may have a few little blemishes from her childhood-- like scars from picked mosquito bites.
Typical style of clothing: AS Elle hasn't really lived outside the comfort of her home-- even since the apocalypse, she is pretty girly-girl. The clothes in her wardrobe are dresses with cowboy boots and long, fluffy sweaters with jeans and she likes her hair down and naturally curly. She's nothing fancy, really. Oh. She does like hoodies. She has like, a gazillion of them.

Its Who I Am
Describe your character’s personality
Elle was your pretty average teenager...except she was a little jaded when it came to popularity and loooooove. She was sort of a smart ass most days, and had the sense of humor of a piece of toast...but occasionally she would humor you with her dry wit. Elle was always curious and annoying but you couldn't fault her for it; she's was young and didn't know a whole lot about the big wide world. Unfortunately she had to grow up too fast, so she doesn't believe in love, or fairy tales, or the 'good' in most people. She doesn't trust easily, and wont really hang around long enough to get to know you anyway, and thinks that Elvis Presley was sexy when he was younger.
You can see I've spoken of the girl as if she were past tense. We'll just have to find out what the big wide APOCALYPTIC world does to her bright eyes.
Strengths :
--- >> the young girl is resilient
--- >> she can cook a mean hamburger on the stove
--- >> Elle's really great at playing the guitar, and though she really doesn't think so, has the voice of a country angel
--- >> She isn't afraid to tell it like it is
--- >> She might weight 90 lbs soaking wet, and can't really scrap worth a lick, but those boots she likes to wear work nice when inserted with gusto into the crotch. She's not afraid to use them, either
--- >> She's not afraid to pick up and leave if things get too bad
Weaknesses :
--- >> she is far too jaded for someone so young
--- >> Elle doesn't trust anybody, and wont stick around long enough to get to know you enough -to- trust you
--- >> she's young and gullible
--- >> she isn't very worldly
--- >> Elle has no CLUE about how to live outside of her home and help.
--- >> She doesn't have much education
Habits: --- >> Snappy mouth, popping her gum, taking off her shoes around people even when she KNOWS they stink to high heaven
Flaws: (please include at least one personality and and one physical):
a. )She picks at her scabs
b.) She is a cry baby.
Its A Gift

We Ain't In Kansas Anymore..
Elle was actually a pretty happy little girl. She was the only child, so she was spoiled, and their town (Savannah, Georgia) was just small enough and quiet enough, that she thought the world was just peachy.
Her mama was a nurse, and her papa …he was a lawman. They had a little house (not little so much as it was an old antebellum mansion in the heart of the River Street district) and a little fence and a little dog and, well…I could keep going but I think you get the gist.
Elle Nora was as innocent as they came. A good little southern Belle that said her prayers and loved her parents, and believed in God and angels.
The little girl was a blessing, and Virginia and Lee loved her very, very much. Elle liked helping mama in the kitchen, especially when she was baking. And she extra special enjoyed when she could sneak the not-so-empty bowl of cobbler filling out to papa, who was most likely watching sports from the comfy recliner.
It could almost give you a cavity this whole story was so, so sweet.
But it really wasn’t -that- sweet. Mama and Papa fought all the time, and sometimes when he had too many beers Elle could hear them through the wall, and she would take notice of other noises she didn’t like but she never said anything because her daddy was a good man. He was the sheriff.
Anyway, he wasn’t all that bad, and a lot of time he was at work, and it was just Elle and mama, and it was nice.
She grew up lovin’ music, and friends and school, and even when she was a teenager she was still a pretty good kid. Blues music was her favorite ESPECIALLY when she was feeling angsty and thought every sad lyric applied to her. There were blue bars downtown that were only like a hop, skip, and jump away, and that’s where the real gritty music was played, but papa never took them. Said it was too dangerous over that way.
Elle took up guitar, and piano just for the hell of it, and is pretty decent, but what she loved was cooking, and she dreamed about one day being like her mother, home with child, and a husband that took care of them.
When she was old enough Elle took a part-time job waitressing at a quaint little dive that had red and white checkered tablecloths and aprons with white lace on the edge. She felt grown almost, even though her papa would tell her she was still his little girl.
It was all so very happy…
The -plague- struck her, like everyone else, unawares.
Suddenly the big little art college town of Savannah was over run with everything from slack-jawed cross-dressers (it was a very open-minded type of place), to rotting corpses that looked to have been buried for years and years. Elle was at work when the panic started, and she rushed home to mama and papa to find them just as scared and confused as she was. Some filthy homeless man had bitten mama on the arm while she was out grocery shopping and it was getting infected awfully quickly.
What a shock it was when Mama closed her eyes for the last time due to the infection from that very wound, and then reopened them not long after just as slack-jawed and hungry as the zombies outside. Papa did his best to protect Elle without hurting Mama further. At this point they both believed like many others, that this was an illness that could be cured. Unfortunately Mama got a bite of Papa’s arm before they could force her into the storm cellar, and knowing that his fate would be the same as Virginia’s they decided tearfully that he would go down into the basement with her.
Elle said good bye to her father and he kissed her forehead before checking the bullets in his shotgun and closing the door behind him. The gun shot beyond that door sounded like thunder, and was followed by another rumble before all was silent.
Of course Elle was without hope and didn’t stop crying for nearly a week. She had no reason to go outside to that horrible, changed world and thankfully the house she had grown up in was well stocked with food and other necessities.
Calmer now, but no more optimistic than she was the day her life changed, the young woman has lost track of the weeks that have passed since the infection hit. She is running out of food and supplies and must leave the safety of her beautiful home soon if she is to survive, but Elle isn’t awake of how horrible things have become out there.
